About Me

Eileen has worked with hair since 1984 and trained and worked in one of the top Edinburgh salons until 1990, when she became self-employed. Eileen worked freelance as a colour educator on the Indola stand at London's Salon International alongside Aidee Phelan and Andrew Collinge.

During the CHOGM (Commonwealth Head of Government Members) in 1997, Eileen was asked to be hairdresser to the first Lady of Canada and the Queen of Swaziland during their stay in Edinburgh.

In 2004 Eileen completed a contemporary bridal hair course by Johnny Engstrom who works with Guy Kremer in his London Salon.

Over the years her eagerness to learn more became almost complete (so she thought!) and in February 2006 put herself on one of the most prestigious colouring courses and gained a L'Oreal colour specialist degree. After working with this for a year she knew that something was still missing from her knowledge and realised by accident that make-up would possibly complete everything.

But instead of going on any make-up course Eileen, did her research for the best one around and came up with The Jemma Kidd make-up School in London.
